About the Milford Memory Box
On Thursday, July 21st, we (Folkcat and Gryphon) hid our first geocache. Located somewhere in Milford, NH, it's called the Milford Memory Box. For full details, as well as the GPS coordinates and clues for locating it, please go here.
The essential theme to the Milford Memory Box is to encourage a feeling of connection among those who find it through the sharing of memories. The box contains a small photo album. Visitors are encouraged (though they are not required) to share a photo or postcard in the album, with a little memory about the scene written on the back of it. Anyone who visits, whether they leave a memory or not, is invited to browse through the album and enjoy the memories that others have left.
With the permission of those who do leave a picture and memory, this blog will serve as a place to accumulate the entire collection of memories for long-term perusal. I'll periodically be visiting the box to trade an empty album for the other as it fills, and scanning the photos to post here.
I'm looking forward to watching this build as a long term project. With time, we should have quite a pool of memories gathered here.
